Current Research
My current research is focused on developing an alternative to the Bertrand price setting game in order to identify stable price vectors in models that do not possess pure strategy Bertrand-Nash equilibria. Specifically, I analyze as a non-transferable utility coalitional game, the set of payoffs that are feasible in the Bertrand price setting game.
Using this technique, I am investigating the consequences of replacing continua of buyers, with finite discrete buyers, in models of spatial competition. In related work, I am developing a model of price competition in markets where buyers and sellers may only transact along the links of a network.
