Research
This is my research page.  My general areas of current and past research interest are in monetary economics, urban/regional economics, environmental economics, applied microeconomics (a sort of "catch-all" category), and economic education.  To get an overall sense of what I have published, you may wish to click on the "curriculum vitae" (this is what academics call a resume) below.  It is, however, pretty dry reading; the other topics are more interesting.  For those with more specific interests or just curious about the themes underlying the publications, click on the narrower topics that follow the Vita:  I have made an effort, at the beginning of each of the following linked pages, to explain in terms that any undergraduate should find understandable what the research is  primarily about. Welcome!  You are the  visitor to the Research link since April 1, 1999.
