Professor Fisher has done research in philosophy of language, epistemology, philosophy of mind, animal mentality, aesthetics and philosophy of music.
Area of Current Interest: Aesthetics, Philosophy of Mind.
Current Research Projects: The aesthetics of nature (environmental aesthetics), the definition of music, the nature of songs, language and aesthetic qualities, a theory of entertainment and the ontology of performance.

The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. (constantly evolving, ever interesting)
A more elementary but also more complete source is The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
A wonderful and fairly complete source at the intermediate level is the Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy. This is only available to those within the CU system. If you are within CU's network, then this is a link to the Routledge encyclopedia through Chinook
