About the CU Horn Choir:

The University of Colorado Horn Choir is an ensemble of horn music majors in the College of Music.  The group ranges from fourteen to eighteen students, depending on enrollment.  This ensemble has performed numerous concerts, including performances at Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver.  They have also played on Colorado Public Radio, and have even performed the National Anthem for the Colorado Rockies, Denver's Major League Baseball team.  In 2002, the CU Horn Choir was a featured ensemble at the Western US Horn Workshop in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The CU Horn Choir performs under the direction of horn teachers Michael Thornton and David Pinkow.  The choir performs a wide variety of music, from classical transcriptions to jazz standards.  The choir was developed to give horn students an opportunity to perform together, and expose students to different musical genres.
