Host-plant associations: Reported from Bouteloua curtipendula and Schizachyrium scoparium (Whitcomb & Hicks 1988). See BONAP's North American Plant Atlas for their distributions north of Mexico.

Range of collection dates: In Iowa, June through September (Osborn and Ball 1897a).

Elevation range (approximate): ‍500–6900 ft.

Sources of Distribution Data: Redrawn almost entirely from Whitcomb & Hicks 1988. R. Henderson provided the majority of the records from Wisconsin (personal communication, 1998). Additional records from C. H.
