The Bylaws Committee has been working on the following initiatives for the past three years:

1) Updating the Bylaws and Standing Rules to bring them into a consistent and timely state.

2) Updating the Bylaws and Standing Rules to allow for a more open, inclusive state where recognized academic units have direct, and consistent, contact with the BFA.

Reliable contact and communication between BFA members and their constituencies are the paramount issues.

Working on the BFA Bylaws and Standing Rules is a labor of love. We meet weekly, sometimes weakly, and it is not for the faint of heart.
