As can be seen by the next letter from Mrs. Brickner, the Denver members were not daunted and again called a meeting at the Brass Lantern in Boulder for January 24, 1956, and interested several Boulder secretaries in forming a Chapter.
After many more trips to Boulder by Mrs. Brickner and her group from the Evergreen Chapter in Denver, coupled with the efforts of Shirley Ferris, Annabel Wood and Thelma McGill, of Boulder, another meeting was held at the Brass Lantern on April 26th, and nine applications were secured -- just one short of enough to form a Chapter! Confident that success was theirs at last and that the additional necessary member could be procured from those who had expressed interest but could not be present at the meeting, the Denver group and the Boulder applicants arranged a date for the installation of the Boulder Chapter.
