Division Meetings

In 1958, the Wyoming Division merged with the Colorado Division, and in 1959 Montana became part of the Division. In sparsely settled states and with the great distances of the West, the division organization has built a foundation to undergird the small chapters, in particular, and to give them needed leadership and moral support. In addition, the division has formed a bond among the members of the chapters and acts as liason between the chapters and the International Board of Directors.

Boulder Chapter hosted its first Colorado-Wyoming-Montana Division Meeting in May 1961. The Friday evening reception theme was "Panning Hour" following the Division Meeting theme "Thar's Gold in Boulder's Hills." On Saturday evening following the banquet and installation of officers was an authentic Gold Nugget Saloon Party complete with Face on the Bar Room Floor, a magician and a melodrama, "Love in Bloom," or "Sin Hath No Shame."

Boulder hosted its second Division meeting in 1968. "The King and I" was the theme of the 14th Annual C-W-M Division Meeting.

In 1974 the Boulder Chapter hosted the C-W-M Division Meeting with "Recipe for Success" as a theme and again in May 1986.
