Question 41: "I've been trying to change myself, but I keep falling back into my old routines. Some days I want to give up. What do I need to understand so I'll keep trying?"

Kiro:

Most people think change should occur overnight,
but life takes its time.

Deep changes are like moss growing on rock.
They may take years to develop.

Most people do not want to wait that long,
so they abandon effort and return to old ways.

To stay with change,
patience is good virtue to cultivate.

Using patience, deepen awareness, make new choices,
and create new ways to think and live.

Practice your new ways constantly,
for it is practice that creates change.

With patience and practice,
change will occur over time.
