Question 43: "I don't feel that people respect me very much. This causes me a lot of grief. What do you suggest?"

Kiro:

When you rely too much on people's opinions of you,
you give them great power.

It is power to disturb
your peace of mind and happiness.

To take some power back,
work on respecting yourself.

When you learn to respect yourself,
you will not try so hard to earn it from others.

As you create more respect for yourself,
others will respect you more.

When respect grows within you and around you,
you will gain new strength.

Instead of being like tree with shallow roots,

you will have deep roots to weather any storm.
