LTA Peru Goodyear operates a Lightship blimp -- "Spirit of the Americas" -- in South America based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Goodyear has flown over Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina in recent years. But not in Peru. Modern airships have not been seen over Peru. That could change. Pedro Larrañaga, General Manager of Aero Comercial Peru S.A., sees the blimp as the vehicle to fill a need in Peru's advertizing world. If you believe the blimp has a future in Peru, contact him:
