Research Tools

Google
The premiere web search engine of choice. Amazing resource tool. Fast, easy. Be sure to use the "images" option. The news by email function is fabulous.

It's easy to get lost on the web. The web search engines take some of the frustration out of the process -- or add to it!

Amazing though search engines are, they're the tip of the iceberg.

Researchers are advised to use their local libraries and become acquainted with the research databases and reference resources available to them. Be aware that there are numerous traditional print and contemporary online resources. Hard to believe, but not everything is online. The internet is still in its infancy.

Your local librarians can help you get started with your research projects.
