Commissioning Statement
The Online Student Services Committee will determine if
the creation of unified web based student services for the campus should be a
priority. It will also develop
criteria and processes to determine how to prioritize services; identify
opportunities and obstacles associated with developing and deploying a unified
set of services; (which might include online admissions, registration,
advising, and bill-paying capabilities) and provide a set of recommendations
which prioritize what services should first be developed. The committee will determine what
technology will best provide online student services for all students
(prospective, enrolled, graduate, and alumni) as well as what departments
should be involved in the implementation of this strategic initiative. Additionally, this committee will identify
and recommend the student service department that can best provide the
primary leadership for this campus-wide initiative.
