Hello!
My name is Mark Gammon. I currently work as a researcher and technology consultant with Academic Technology at the University of Colorado, Boulder. In my role as a technology consultant I work with faculty and instructors, providing consultations, trainings, and workshops on using instructional technologies including learning management systems (CULearn & D2L), Clickers, collaboration software, social networking tools, digital images, audio, video, and classroom presentation tools.

My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in sociology and women's studies from Colorado State University, a master's degree in student affairs/higher education administration from the University of Maryland, and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Massachusetts. My academic interests focus primarily on identity and the social-cultural aspects of technology and media, with particular emphasis on social networking technologies. I have worked as a college administrator, a technology researcher, a social media manager, and as a digital/social strategist. I'm interested in what's happening @ the interesection of people & technology.
