I am currently doing a post-doc and researching various aspects of thin film growth by atomic layer deposition (ALD) in the Steven George group at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

In addition to ALD, I am interested in subjects related to semiconductors, materials properties, electrochemistry, and renewable energy. My degrees are in chemistry, but it seems more accurate to call myself a materials scientist.

 

When I'm not at work, I like to play outdoors, especially in the mountains.  My favorite activities involve going downhill and feeling the adrenaline, but of course I also like the scenery, fresh air, getting a workout, and hanging out with friends.  My wife Christie (who designed this page) also likes many of the activities listed below.
