We would like to announce the opening of two Center for Theoretical Quantum Matter (CTQM) postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Colorado Boulder. These positions will be affiliated with the condensed matter theory (CMT) group in the Department of Physics and the newly founded CTQM (see http://ctqm.colorado.edu/ for details). We would greatly appreciate your bringing this opportunity to the attention of any strong candidates.
The successful candidate will carry out research in collaboration with the faculty of the CMT group, that includes Victor Gurarie, Michael Hermele, Rahul Nandkishore and Leo Radzihovsky, and will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with faculty in related areas through the CTQM. We encourage applications from candidates with interest in any area of CMT, from field theory of strongly interacting systems to non-equilibrium quantum dynamics to soft matter.
The positions are expected to begin Fall 2016 (although this is flexible). Applications will be handled through the University of Colorado’s online jobs system [JobsatCU posting #RF03016, accessible at the following link: http://www.jobsatcu.com/postings/107841]. Interested candidates should create a profile and upload a CV, list of publications (document 1) and a brief statement of research interests (document 2), as well as arrange for at least three letters of recommendation to be uploaded. Review of applications will begin on November 1, 2015.
