Graduate students

I have positions available for graduate student research assistanceships. I am seeking students currently admitted to PhD programs in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, Atmospheric and Ocean Science (ATOC), or Chemistry.

Current research activities span a range of issues related to air quality, climate change, energy policy and atmospheric science -- all within the context of integration of atmospheric models with observations using sophisticated mathematical approaches and advanced computational tools. Scientific programmer

I am currently seeking a scientific programmer to assist with maintenance, development and support of the GEOS-Chem model adjoint. Applicants should have strong skills in unix/linux environments and scientific programming. Experience with adjoint models and/or the GEOS-Chem forward model would be a considerable plus. Candidates may range from the MS to postdoctoral level. Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV and three references to daven.henze@colorado.edu.
