¨      CNN Newsource

As part of our working relationship with Cable News Network, NewsTeam receives a video feed, CNN Newsource. Under Universal Feeds, we record the feed that is listed as "1300 Universal" (runs approx. 7-8:30 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time, 6-7:30 a.m. Mountain Standard Time). We are allowed to use any of the material for our newscasts.  However, most of the material is national and international news. Therefore, we should limit our reliance on CNN, since we are producing a newscast should be primarily local Boulder-area news. It is a good idea for producers to check the Newsource rundown for any Colorado stories that may appear. The feed is recorded on VHS in Bob Richards’ office.
