I have also worked on various university committees such as the Graduate Curriculum and Dean's Small Grants , Privilege and Tenure Committee, The UROP Advisory Board, Council for Undergraduat e Enrichment, Role and Mission of the Boulder Campus BFA committee, member of Multicultural Arts Institute, elected member of the Boulder Faculty Assembly, Minority Affairs Committee and system-wide Minority Affairs Committee., faculty advisor for the S MART program and participant in programs for the Teaching Excellence program.

I have served as Acting Assoicate Dean for Curricular Affairs 1994-96 and Chair of the College Diversity Plan.


Community Service:

I have served on several committees for the establishment of ethnic minorities in the City of Denver's Public Art program, and I have been involved in many fund raising campaigns and guest speaker for the Nature Conservancy and Trout Unlimite d in California, Rhode Island, New York, Ohio, Idaho,Wyoming and throughout Colorado.
