I have made this website for a number of reasons. First, when I am attempting to get an idea of what sort of research and activities are going on in a research group, I always try to find such personal websites for the people involved. Relatedly, this website gives me a place to post some basic information about my research interests and refer to details with a publication list. Lastly, the website is a good place to upload information that I want to share that is not easily accomplished via normal networking (e.g. email, facebook).
