Bioastronautics Educators (last updated 13 Nov 2024)
Bioastronautics - the study and support of life
in space
This table is compiled (and periodically updated) to serve as a focal
point for those interested in this broad field of study by providing a list of
institutions and faculty who teach (or plan to teach) courses addressing
various science and engineering aspects related to human space flight,
including colleagues providing perspectives from government and industry.
Establishing this forum represents a grass roots-level
effort aimed at institutionalizing Bioastronautics as an academic discipline by
compiling a comprehensive curriculum framework and connecting the community of
educators and students engaged in common relevant topics.
Slides from a 2017 workshop are posted here and the
resultant outline of Bioastronautics curriculum topics is available here.
Contact me (Prof. David Klaus/klaus@colorado.edu) with
requests for additions/removals, updates or corrections to this list, or if you
have any questions or comments in general about this overall educational
endeavor.
Feel free to share this link with any interested parties.
