Kristine Larson Biography

Background

I was born and raised in southern California. My family moved to San Diego in 1970 when my father took a job at the Deep Sea Drilling Project. I attended college back east and then returned to San Diego for graduate school. I spent a lot of my graduate school years on Interstate 5 commuting between Pasadena (JPL) and La Jolla (Scripps). Thankfully, this was before Interstate 5 became a parking lot.

I moved to Colorado in 1990 which is where I met my husband George. Sean joined the family in 1999; he is currently known as Radon.
