Swiss Camp, Greenland

GPS data are being collected by Jay Zwally(GSFC), Waleed Abdalati(GSFC), and Koni Steffen(CU/CIRES) at the Swiss Camp as part of the PARCA program funded by NASA. A Trimble receiver operates autonomously throughout the year and is programmed to track satellites for approximately 10 hours every 10 days. The data are recovered each spring.

The GPS data were analyzed by Kristine Larson with the GIPSY precise point positioning software [Zumberge et al., JGR, 1997]. Shown below are the motions of Swiss Camp as a function of time.
