- PISEC Introductory meetings. Tentatively scheduled for Tuesday 9/1/09 7-8pm and Weds 9/2/09 7-8pm, location TBA. Come find out what our program is about! PIZZA!!!!! We may have meetings next week. Email me so I can set it up!
- Casa de la Esperanza. The dates and times for Casa are Weds 5-6:30pm 9/23 through 11/18. Possible activities include Circuits 1-4, new magnets lab, and maybe mechanics. Training for Casa will start Tuesday 9/8 and Weds 9/9 7-9pm, location TBA. We will probably continue to train the next week if necessary. If you are new, be sure to come to the information meeting.
- Spangler Elementary. We will be working with the Spangler 4th graders from last semester (who are now the 5th graders) and the new 4th grade class. (That's two classes all together.) The 4th graders will do Circuits 1. New 5th graders will do Circuits 1. Returning 5th graders will do Circuits 2-4 depending on where they are. This semester students from the STEP 1 course will be participating at Spangler, perhaps with openenings for others, too. Spangler will meet 2:45-3:45pm, once a week on both Mondays and Tuesdays, from 9/28 - 11/17. If you are in the course, more details will be presented in class, otherwise If you are new, be sure to come to the information meeting.
- Rocky Mountain Elementary. This is a new school in our program and is located in Longmont. We will be working with a double class of 4th and 5th graders doing Circuits 1. This semester students from the STEP 1 course will be participating at Rocky Mountain, perhaps with openings for others, too. Rocky Mountain will meet 3:45-4:45 on Thursdays once a week from 10/1 - 11/19. Training will be in class and in evening sessions.If you are in the course, more details will be presented in class and in evening sessions, otherwise If you are new, be sure to come to the information meeting.
- Northridge Elementary. This is a new school in our program and is located in Longmont. We will be working with a double class of 4th and 5th graders doing Circuits 1. This semester students from the STEP 1 course will be participating at Northridge, perhaps with openings for others, too. Northridge will meet 3:25-4:25 on Tuesdays once a week from 10/1 - 11/19. Training will be in class and in evening sessions.If you are in the course, more details will be presented in class, otherwise If you are new, be sure to come to the information meeting.
- Boulder Prep. Boulder Prep has two terms within our Fall semester. We will be meeting with students in Block 1 twice a week during the weeks of 9/7, 9/14, and 9/21, with days and times TBA. In Block 2 we will meet BP twice a week during the weeks of 10/26, 11/2, and 11/9, again days/time TBA. I believe we will be doing mechanics in Block 1, but I don't have details about Block 2 yet. If you are new, be sure to come to the information meeting.
