Teaching and Research Statement:

  • My teaching and research involve construction engineering and management with a specific focus on innovative delivery strategies for infrastructure and the built environment. I am currently teaching graduate and undergraduate classes in the area of engineering risk and decision analysis, construction equipment and methods, and cost engineering. My teaching philosophy employs active and collaborative learning methods. I currently have an active research program with funded projects from the public and private sectors.  My professional service involves work with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA).
