I am no longer a member of the CU Boulder faculty, where I served as an Assistant Professor of Political Science between 2007 and 2016. I will maintain this site for archival purposes as long as the university allows me to maintain the account. If you have any questions about international relations courses and teaching issues, please contact the chair of the Political Science Department.

My research and teaching interests addressed how states address the complexity of governing international trade and how states overcome the challenges that institutions governing international trade confront. More specifically, many of my projects addressed the political economy and the evolution of the multilateral trade institution—the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT)/World Trade Organization (WTO)—and of preferential trade agreements (PTAs).
