Dr. Nemergut taught an ENVS critical thinking course titled "Biotechnology and the Environment" in the Spring 2006. This course focused on the effects of biotechnology (e.g., genetically modified organisms) on the environment. The goal of this course was to write a critical review on this subject as a class. Nemergut taught an ENVS and GEOL graduate course called "Molecular to Global Biogeochemistry" with Alan Townsend in the Fall 2006 (course website).
