Dr. Nemergut taught an ENVS critical thinking course titled "Biotechnology and the Environment" in the Spring 2006. This course focused on the effects of biotechnology (e.g., genetically modified organisms) on the environment. The goal of this course was to write a critical review on this subject as a class. Here is a pdf of the class review. Note that this is the result of a group project and is not a peer-reviewed document.

Nemergut taught an ENVS and GEOL graduate course called "Molecular to Global Biogeochemistry" with Alan Townsend in the Fall 2006 (course website).

Nemergut taught EBIO "General Biology" in the Fall of 2007 (course website), as well as an ENVS graduate seminar called "The Evolution of Earth's Biogeochemical Cycles (course flier).

Dr. Nemergut will be teaching an ENVS critical thinking course titled "Rethinking Hurricane Katrina" in the Spring of 2008 (course flier).
