Vorticella Splashing

Science Teaching Fellow
Physics Department, University of Colorado at Boulder

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the University of Colorado at Boulder Department of Physics working in the Physics Education Research Group. I am studying student learning difficulties in junior-level Electricity and Magnetism as well as helping to transform this course at CU.

I recieved my Ph.D. in physics form Harvard working in Howard Stone's group in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. In my fluid mechanics research I study liquid on solid splashing as well as the flow around the microorganism Vorticella. In general, I am interested in the intersection between fluid mechanics and biology.
