• Understanding the underlying mechanisms behind decreased endothelium dependent dilatation and increased inflammation and oxidative stress during aging.
• Understanding how different metabolic situations (such as caloric restriction) affects Endothelial Dependent Dilatation in aged vs young  mice.
  

Current Reserach Projects

• The role of short-term caloric restriction on Endothelium Dependent Vasodilation in young vs old mice
• The role of senescent endothelial cells in vivo.
  
• In vitro model of aging using Human Aortic Endothelial Cells (HAEC):  
• Role of microRNAs during replicative senecsence 
• Role of replicative senescence on the expression of  NADPH oxidase and is involvement in production of reactive oxygen species (ROS)
  
• The role of in vitro "caloric restriction/Low Glucose" on replicative senescence?
