Stratospheric Ozone: the notorious FAQ and related links
Yes, I am the author of the ozone depletion FAQ, bits and pieces of which
have been splattered all over usenet. How I ended up writing this monstrosity is a long story, but it seems to be pretty popular so here are some links
to sites where it is archived. The ohio-state version has the nicest
format, but it has an erratic record of keeping the FAQ up to date.
The following web sites are good starting points for information
on stratospheric ozone.
Gregory Dubois-Felsmann's SOLIS page at NCAR.
The Aeronomy and Climate Monitoring and Diagnostics Laboratories at NOAA.
The HALOE project.
The British
Antarctic Survey.
The USDA UV-B monitoring
program home page at Colorado State University.
The US Environmental Protection Agency's
Stratospheric Ozone page.
