Type Certificates
Courtesy of Bruce Blake: Whilst there are literally hundreds
of Type certificates for aeroplanes, helicopters and balloons,
I have listed below those that I have found for airships. All
but one of these was found on the website of the US
Federal Aviation Administration. There may be a few others
listed in UK, Europe, Russia and elsewhere.
UK
Sequence is alphabetical per FAA, LBA, by airship Type.

I guess this is a case of the US picking up the aircraft
that were not successfully commercialised by the UK. All
three can be found (with similar Type designations) on
the
FAA website.
George Spyrou at Airship Management Services now owns the
Skyship Type certificates.
Jim Thiele at American Blimp
Corporation owns the GA-42 Type certificate. |
