Music

I used to play in bands (I played guitar).  My first, in San Diego, was called i marry Mary (with Joel Knutson on vocals and guitar, Ian Woodward on bass and vocals, Scott Leslie on drums, and, for a time, Henry Pfister on keys).  Then in San Francisco I played in Four Eyes (with Kim Rohrbach on vocals and guitar, Jeff Litz on bass, and Anthony Koutsos on drums) and, at the same time, Porpoise (with Joel Knuston on vocals and guitar, Fennis Ho on bass, and PJ Hakimi on drums).

Just so it takes history a minute longer to forget us, here's some samples:

i marry Mary - "Snowblinded I Can See Everything" (circa 1994)

Four Eyes - "Kitchen Serenade" (circa 1996)

Porpoise - "Sheroes and Villians" (circa 1997)

I don't play in bands anymore.  But recently I did do a couple guitar workshops (one bluegrass, one blues) with an absolutely fabulous guitar player and teacher and all around swell guy called Andrew Lawrence.  His outfit is the Acoustic Guitar Network.  Someday I want to do his Django workshop, but I fear I'm not tough enough.

Here's the real reason for the "Music" page: the opportunity to indicate some albums I really really love:
