Elaine Sisman on Haydn in Marshall (270-307)
Robert Levin on Mozart (two articles: one on solo, one on concertos) in Marshall (308-393)
Familiarize yourselves with the arrangement and contents of Sandra Rosenblum's Performance Practices in Classic Piano Music;  read part I (pp. 1-30) as a start on this book, then on to ppp. 31-54 in part II to read her discussion of the pianos of the time.
Familiarize yourselves with the arrangement and contents of Charles Rosen's The Classical Style: Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven; read Part V, Chapter I (Mozart's Concertos) (different editions have different pagination), and part VI, Chapter 2 (Haydn's Piano Trios).
