Host-plant associations: Panicum virgatum, Sporobolus spp., Cynodon dactylon, and Eragrostis curvula (Whitcomb and Hicks 1988a).

Range of collection dates: 19 June–27 September in Colorado.

Elevation range (approximate): unavailable for this species.

Sources of Distribution Data: Published accounts, internet resources, specimens in the collections of the United States National Museum, the Mississippi Entomological Museum at Mississippi State University, the University of Colorado Natural History Museum, and unpublished records from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (Rich Henderson, personal communication, 1998), and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.  

Comments: Flexamia atlantica has also been reported from Ohio (Osborn and Knull 1947a).
