About Me

I am a visiting assistant professor of philosophy at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. I have a bachelor's degree from Ashland University, a master's degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and a doctoral degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. I specialize in metaethics and ethical theory, and I have teaching competencies in practical ethics (including bioethics, business ethics, environmental ethics, food ethics, and professional ethics), philosophy of law, philosophy of religion, epistemology, early modern philosophy, and logic.

My wife, Anne Marie, and I have three children, Junia, Quin, and Avila. When I am not doing philosophy, I enjoy spending time with them, visiting with friends, playing sports, and taking photos.
