About Me

I am a visiting assistant professor of philosophy at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. I have a bachelor's degree from Ashland University, a master's degree from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and a doctoral degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. I specialize in metaethics and ethical theory, and I have teaching competencies in practical ethics (including bioethics, business/professional ethics, and environmental ethics), philosophy of law, philosophy of religion, epistemology, early modern philosophy, and logic.

My wife, Anne Marie, and I have two children. When I am not doing philosophy, I enjoy spending time with them, visiting with friends, playing sports, and taking photos.
