ABOUT ME:
I was born in California, and spent my youth moving from seaport to seaport within the U.S. with my family, since my father was a member of the US Navy. Before the age of ten, I had lived in California, Jacksonville, Florida, Washington D.C., Norfolk, Virginia, and Annapolis, Maryland. I also lived in Italy and Japan while growing up. Such an upbringing made me very interested in traveling.
After college, where I majored in mathematics, I went on to graduate school, where I earned a doctorate in mathematics and became a mathematician. I have been married to James Jesudason, whom I met in college, for over 25 years, and we lived in Singapore for over 15 years in total. Along the way we had two kids, Adam and Aaron. We now live in Boulder, where I teach at the CU Mathematics Department. Some of my hobbies are reading, kickboxing and watching movies.
