After a career with the University of Colorado, Boulder, I retired in 2014 and moved, with my wife of two years, the Canadian poet, Tammy Armstrong, to a small lobster fishing village called Shag Harbour, on the south shore of Nova Scotia. 


My poetry has appeared in a number of journals over the years, including The Atlantic, Poetry, Valparaiso, The North American Review, Colorado Review, Dublin Review, Orbis, Fiddlehead, Arc, Antigonish Review, Grain, Vallum and Slipstream.
