Question 1: "I'm way too concerned about what people think of me. I'm so caught up in it, I can forget who I am. What's your advice?"

Kiro:

When you care too much about what people think of you,
you give them too much power to control you.

When they hold too much power,
you will be afraid of them.

Fearing that they might reject you,
you will lose your tranquility and autonomy.

Out of balance, you will be constantly
bowing to others and never bowing to yourself.

Use your capacity to accept rejection
as a step to create more balance within yourself.

Care less about what people think of you
and more about what you think of yourself.

In this way, you will stay sensitive to the opinions
of others without being slave to them.

This will give you greater freedom to be yourself
but not so much freedom that you set others against you.

In greater balance, you become part of a group
and separate from it.

In Woo, you will get to bow to yourself
and not just others.

You will become like a roughed mountain
surrounded by water but not undermined by it.
